A comical figure of a seated lady knitting, in glazed slip-cast bisque porcelain with painted and incised decoration using a wax-resist technique. This is a rare example of this figure produced and designed by Susan Parkinson, model 110, for the Parkinson Pottery at Brabourne Lees, Ashford, Kent early 1950’s.
Marked: Impressed mark to underside - Richard Parkinson and Made in England. Height: 19cm.
